Feast your eyes on this second set of shots from Christian & Jilma’s lush, romantic proposal! This loving couple traveled all the way from Mexico to have the perfect engagement story under the bright lights of NYC. We were so honored to have worked with them. Felicitaciones a la pareja feliz!
Christian came to us all the way from Puebla, Mexico to design the perfect proposal for his bride Jilma. We cooked up an elaborate plan for this fashionista bride-to-be including a weekend of NYC fun, a helicopter tour over Manhattan and finally their fairytale engagement on the rooftop of Ramscale overlooking the Empire State Building and the Hudson River.
Surrounded by spectacular florals from Juan M. Villanueva and a Spanish guitarist and singer, the couple enjoyed a romantic meal al fresco by Chef Ashton Keefe. Jen Davis provided the amazing shots below and all paperie is courtesy of Lion in the Sun. More to come in Part 2!
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to get proposed to — check out this video from an unsuspecting future bride! The most adorable part is when he accidentally gets the word wrong! Courtesy of the Knot.
We are so honored to have our Proposal Planning services featured on the super-chic Merci New York blog. Isn’t it true that the first thing you’re asked when you get engaged is how he popped the question? Our proposal planning service is truly becoming the next big thing!
We’re honored to be featured for our Proposal Planning services on Style Me Pretty! Check out the pictures of Shawn’s New Years Eve proposal to Neelon, fabulous photos thanks to Zlatko Batistich Photography, flowers by Rountree Flowers.
If you’re in search of a simple, sweet way to propose, check out these sweet proposal bowls from Paloma’s Nest! They are handcrafted clay bowls, small enough to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand and imprinted with the words “Will you Marry Me?” Place the engagement ring into the dish and you’re set to go. They come packaged in a wooden box and a cream-colored ribbon, perfect for those wrapping-challenged guys out there! No doubt the dish and the ring will become a family heirloom.
Roy’s classic NYC proposal at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park was followed by a private horse-drawn carriage tour around Central Park. Afterwards, they were whisked away to rink-side views and red wine at Rockefeller Center’s Morrell Wine Bar. Their perfect evening ended with a candlelit dinner at the exclusive Upstairs at the 21 Club.
When I received Roy’s heartfelt email all the way from Indiana with his wish to create a perfect, classic NYC proposal for Michele, it was an honor to help make it come true. We chose the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park for the location because it holds a very special meaning for Michele.
And, since she is all about the “moment,” we designed the proposal around the concept of creating an art gallery of their love story. We used cream-colored french memo boards to display cards, photos and mementos of their lives together so far and invited 2 professional vocalists to perform Michele’s favorite songs from West Side Story.
The pavilion was decorated to reflect the festive holiday season with the help of the talented and kind Juan from Juan M. Villanueva Designs. The garland was made from winter foliage, evergreens and accented with holly berries, and the entrance was framed by bright red amaryllis. Stay tuned for more show-stopping photos from Zlatko Batistich!
This New York City proposal was all romance! The penthouse at the Hudson Hotel was lavishly decorated in a palette of deep reds and purples and filled to the brim with flowers from Rountree Flowers…one for each day since the happy couple met. The groom-to-be composed a song especially for the occasion which was performed live on acoustic guitar by Goro & Marcelo. These spectacular shots are by Zlatko Batistich. Congratulations to Francesco & Cynthia!
