A Brilliant Wedding: Janice and Matt

All this snow has us dreaming about summer weddings! This past June we planned Janice and Matt's wedding at Lyndhurst Mansion, just outside of NYC, and Christian Oth Studio captured each adorable moment!

Before heading out of the city, we planned for door games, followed by a tea ceremony. If you're not familiar with door games, it's basically where the groom has to complete a series of tasks to get to the bride. In this case, there was singing, dancing, wasabi eating, poem writing, and more!

This was followed by a traditional tea ceremony and a quick change before heading up to Lyndhurst!

Since Matt hadn't seen Janice in her western wedding dress yet, they did their first look as soon as they got to the venue and they even included their pup, Arrow!

The couple held their ceremony in the rose garden, surrounded by family and close friends. After a year of anticipation, we were so happy that the entire rose garden was in bloom for their wedding day!

After being showered with rose petals, guests went to cocktail hour. We created a standing escort card display made of Chinese love knots, as a nod to Janice's heritage.

Guests then entered the tent for a night of dancing! Each place setting had a marble charger and Rountree Flowers surrounded them by lush floral centerpieces that made you feel like the gardens were brought inside! Chevy Chevis entertainment kept the dance floor on fire until it was time for cake cutting. The cake by Lulu Cake Boutique was a huge hit!

At the end of the night, guests took home dim sum basket favors. Each basket held it's own macaron custom-lettered with the double happiness symbol!
