As the senior associate planner at Brilliant Event Planning, specializing in venue weddings, I can attest to the abundance of beautiful venues in this city. While it’s difficult to narrow down the list, here are the Boston venues that would be at the top of my list if I were planning my wedding this year!
Institute of Contemporary Art

I have also been dying to work at the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston! This cutting edge, 61-story skyscraper in Back Bay exudes brightness, sophistication, and style. While it shares core similarities to its sister venue, I love the new fresh and contemporary twist that the new location offers.
Boston Athenaeum
The Boston Athenaeum, a renowned independent library and cultural center, offers a selection of exquisite event spaces that combine historic charm with modern elegance. The beautifully restored interior features stunning architectural details, including grand marble staircases, ornate ceilings, and elegant woodwork, creating a timeless backdrop for weddings and special events. Perched atop Boston’s historic Beacon Hill, the library's first floor invokes a unique and intimate library-ambiance, while the 5th Floor Reading Room boasts soaring ceilings and abundant natural light. Although originally founded in 1807, the library recently expanded into a wedding venue in 2022, adding a new and exciting dimension to its long history.

Although not technically located in Boston, the Crane Estate remains one of my all time favorite venues in New England. Less than an hour away from Boston, and set on 2,100 acres of rolling hills and landscaped gardens, the estate provides a picturesque backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. With its grand mansion, manicured lawns, and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Crane Estate is a dream venue for couples seeking that romantic, Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic.
