Every detail of Layla and Ben’s fairytale wedding was carefully crafted to reflect their love story. A true blending of families and cultures, there were Persian, Arab, Hawaiian, and American elements present in their New England wedding. The groom, a composer, created a custom arrangement of their processional song, Appalachian Spring. The sofreh for their Persian ceremony was a year-long labor of love by Layla’s mom, with elements brought together from all over the world. One of our favorite moments was when Layla and Ben cut their wedding cake. Just as the knife hit the cake, fireworks erupted behind them! Guests danced into the evening to a Persian DJ/Live Band hybrid provided by On The Move Entertainment. It was a weekend that we won’t soon forget!
