A Brilliant Wedding: Trevor & Rodney

When Trevor and Rodney asked me to plan their wedding reception I could not have been more flattered and truly honored.  Not only are they a dynamic, amazing, head-over-heels in love couple, but Trevor is also a former colleague of mine and he & Rodney have been dear friends for years.  Talk about pressure!  After hosting an intimate ceremony at City Hall on a separate date, Trevor and Rodney threw their reception bash at Astra and the party was just as fun as the grooms themselves.  Guests raved about the delicious cake from City Cakes, which featured a logo created by Rodney, a talented graphic designer.  Thank you gifts featuring Trevor's favorite hometown snack, Tayto's from Ireland, and a favorite wine were also a big hit among their guests.  Besides the packed dancefloor and scrumptious meal, the guests had a blast with the flipbook booth - not just a photobooth - a flipbook booth!  Guests even got to take home their own customized flipbook complete with a photo of the happy couple and their custom wedding logo, perused memory boards filled with mementos from the couple's love story and enjoyed gorgeous centerpieces of black calla lillies by Blossom & Branch. I'll never forget the heartfelt speech that Trevor gave, there most certainly wasn't a dry eye in the entire room.  The grooms and their friends and family celebrated their marriage in an undeniably fun fashion and threw one heck of a party.  Congratulations Trevor and Rodney!  I feel so very lucky to have been part of your special day.
