Charlotte + Billy | Cape Cod Wedding

Charlotte and Billy’s classic Cape Cod wedding was just featured on Boston Weddings, so we can finally share all the details with you! In case you missed the full feature, you can read it here.

Charlotte and Billy found inspiration for their wedding in A Midsummer’s Night Dream - translated into a classic Cape palette of blue and white. Charlotte chose to carry a small, white bouquet inspired by Meghan Markle’s, and we attached her grandmother’s brooch and her late father’s wedding band to the stems.

Charlotte wore a gorgeous Reem Acra dress and her bridesmaids wore navy BHLDN gowns. Once everyone was ready, we made our way to the quaint, New England chapel in Brewster. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate Catholic ceremony officiated by Father Mark Lane, who has been Charlotte’s priest since she was a child.

Guests then made their way to The Wequassett for the reception. During cocktail hour, guests were treated to custom beer flights with Billy’s favorite beers. It was a perfect summer day to stroll the gardens!

Before heading into the reception guests found their names on tiles that had been placed on a bed of moss. They also signed the guest book. Billy, who is an avid postcard collector, had curated postcards from places that are meaningful to him and Charlotte - favorite vacations, places they studied, and spots they love. Guests then wrote advice and well wishes on the postcards!

The reception truly brought the outdoors in! Lush white florals and moss covered the tables and were accented by pops of blue linen. At the head table, the bridal party dined under a ceiling of romantic florals. Charlotte and Billy shared their first dance to Billy Joel’s “She’s got a way” and then the dance floor opened up and the party began! Guests finished off a perfect Cape Cod day with a slice of cake before heading home!
