A Brilliant Wedding: Abbie & Joon

Abbie & Joon were so much fun to work with because they gave us complete creative freedom! Both the bride and the groom are scientists and wanted to incorporate their passions  into their special day. They chose to hold their wedding in a library and special library lamps were brought in to further set the scene. The couple's escort cards were miniature books that included their love story - written by a former New York Times writer! Each book also contained a "library card" on which guests could write a  piece of advice for the couple to add to their "card catalogue". The couple chose to have two specialty cocktails. The groom's cocktail was served in beakers and the bride's in English-style tea cups to represent her British upbringing. At the end of the night, guests were treated to an amazing dessert display: an enormous, custom-made periodic table of elements made of macaroons! After guests signed the couple's globe guestbook, they grabbed test tubes full of chocolate to take home as a favor.

We are so honored and excited to have Abbie & Joon's wedding featured in the New York Magazine's fall wedding issue! Pick up a copy of the magazine to see the full article.

Congratulations to Abbie & Joon!
