A Brilliant Wedding: Shu and Ed

Shu & Ed were such a fun couple to work with! Their wedding took place at The Garrison, a lush, 300-acre property in the Hudson Valley. The couple held two ceremonies: one traditional American and one tea ceremony in the Chinese tradition. The bride wore two different dresses, a flowing white gown for the first ceremony, and a striking, red, lace dress for the second. In keeping with the rustic location, all of the signs for the wedding were beautifully done in chalk including the menus and program for the evening. The couple made their escort cards into a fun game for guests. Each card had the guest's name and two clues on it. Guests were challenged to match their clues to a table chart with different places significant to the couple's relationship with the guest. Once seated, guests enjoyed dinner under flickering candle light with the stunning Hudson Valley hills as a backdrop. Guests went home at the end of the night with gourmet ice cream sandwiches from CoolHaus.

We are excited to announce that Shu & Ed's wedding was chosen to be featured on Junebug Weddings!
