The Perfect Place for a Wedding in the South of France

I was lucky enough to experience a press trip to the South of France. And, believe me, it truly is the quiet paradise that you see in postcards.  As one of the most picturesque regions in the world, it's also a beautiful backdrop for the ultimate romantic destination wedding. If you're in love with Napa, California you'll be head over heels for the South of France.

Many of my clients dream of getting married in a villa, but why rent a villa in France when you can rent an entire village?  When you escape to the Hotel Crillon Le Brave you truly have an entire town to yourself.  A small village of its own, this resort encompasses more than six stone-crafted villas - ranging from an ancient stable to a local winemaker's home - with a total of 34 suites. The gorgeous hotel steps from a century old church that is ideal for Catholic ceremonies, boasts a wine cave where their sommelier hosts a private wine tasting experience (perhaps a great way for your parents to get to know each other?) and a bistro where everything on the menu has been sourced within 40 kilometers from the restaurant.

Dinner and dancing for up to 90 guests takes place on the hotel's outdoor patio as the sun disappears behind the French countryside and nearby snow-capped Mount Ventoux.  The experience and service is top-notch in every way - even relaxing enough for a stressed-out wedding planner to take a load off and enjoy from the moment I was greeted by the friendly Julian at the front step of reception to the directions to one of France's best cheese shops two towns away as we departed.  The world class team offer a refined yet friendly approach without feeling stuffy.  The best part?  Hotel Crillon Le Brave is an easy ride from Paris on the TGV, so you and your guests can spend a few nights in Paris before or after the wedding.
